Giorno 3 — Kuala Lumpur → Cameron Highlands
Breakfast. Departure for Cameron Highlands. Along the way, you will come across several simple villages inhabited by the Orang Asli, the indigenous people of the Malay Peninsula who still largely rely on natural fiber collection and hunting for their livelihoods. Arrival at the Cameron Highlands is expected in the afternoon. Located on the northwestern border of the state of Pahang, this is the largest cultivated plain in Malaysia, alternating with lush and wild high-altitude forests. Famous for its tea plantations and mild temperatures, providing relief from the equatorial heat of the region, the Highlands are named after the English surveyor William Cameron, who first mapped the area. The Cameron Highlands still retain a characteristic belle époque style, with its well-kept farms, Tudor-style country houses, English gardens, and golf courses. Lunch and dinner free. Accommodation Strawberry Park Resort.

Giorno 4 — Cameron Highlands → Ipoh
Breakfast. Departure for Ipoh. Km 260. Along the recommended route, we suggest stopping to visit the temples of Perak Tong, San Poh Tong and Gua Kok Look Tong. Upon arrival in Ipoh, we recommend trying the local speciality, white coffee. It takes its name from the colour it acquires when condensed milk is added, giving the coffee a particularly sweet taste. You can then enjoy a leisurely stroll through some of Ipoh’s most characterful lanes: Wife Lane (now known as Lorong Hale), Concubine Lane (now known as Lorong Panglima) and Second Concubine Lane (now known as Market Lane). One of the best things to do in Ipoh is, of course, to discover its finest street art. The streets of the Old Town are adorned with murals by Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic, who is renowned for bringing colour to many streets in Penang and other cities across Malaysia. Lunch and dinner free. Accommodation AC Hotels by Marriott Ipoh.

Giorno 5 — Ipoh → Penang

A small island on the lake, accessible by boat, which is home to the Orangutan Conservation Center, the only one of its kind here on the Malay Peninsula. In this center, these primates, found orphaned or near death in the jungles of Malaysian Borneo, are admitted to receive a course of care and rehabilitation. Various aspects of research and study on these primates are also addressed, with the aim of raising awareness among federal authorities and future generations about the endangered future of orangutans. Continuation to Penang/Georgetown. Free time to explore Georgetown (Unesco site). Walking through art galleries, ancient shops, temples of every religion and kind, until getting lost in the spicy streets of Little India. Lunch and dinner free. Accommodation lyf Georgetown Penang by The Ascott Limited.
