I arrive at the airport of Keflavik. Transfer to the hotel with shuttle bus, without assistance. Dinner free. Accommodation Hotel Klettur.
Breakfast. Departure for Snæfellsnes. The Snæfellsnes Peninsula, in western Iceland, is often considered a perfect miniature of the entire country. Within a short distance, visitors can experience lava fields, fishing villages, dramatic sea cliffs, black sand beaches and striking mountains dominated by the Snæfellsjökull glacier, famously linked to Jules Verne’s novel “Journey to the Center of the Earth”. Along the route, highlights include the basalt columns of Gerðuberg, the iconic black church of Búðir surrounded by lava fields, the picturesque fishing village of Arnarstapi and the black beach of Djúpalónssandur. The northern coast of the peninsula also offers beautiful views over Breiðafjörður Bay and authentic fishing communities deeply connected to Iceland’s maritime traditions. Return to Reykjavík. Among these, the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, made unique by the possibility, conditions permitting, of walking the path that passes behind the veil of water, offering an evocative and unusual perspective. We then continue towards Skógar to admire Skógafoss, one of the country's most impressive waterfalls, with its spectacular drop of water surrounded by verdant landscapes. The day finally continues at Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach dominated by basalt columns, the powerful waves of the Atlantic and some of Iceland's most iconic and photographed scenery. Breakfast. Departure for Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. The day is dedicated to discovering south-east Iceland, one of the country's most spectacular areas, dominated by glaciers, glacial lagoons and landscapes shaped by ice. Crossing the vast black plains of Skeiðarársandur, magnificent views open up over Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe. The route then leads to Skaftafell National Park, a natural oasis characterised by lush vegetation, mountains and glacial tongues. Conditions permitting, it will be possible to reach the striking Svartifoss waterfall, famous for its basalt columns. The day finally continues towards the spectacular glacial lagoon of Jökulsárlón, where enormous icebergs break off from the glacier and drift slowly towards the ocean, creating one of Iceland's most iconic and fascinating sights. Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Accommodation Fosshotel Nupar.

Giorno 5 — Sudurland (Islanda del Sud) → Penisola di Reykjanes → Reykjavik
Breakfast. The day involves the return towards the west coast along the evocative landscapes of southern Iceland, with possible stops at the places not visited on the outward journey. You then continue into the Reykjanes peninsula, an area characterised by lava fields, geothermal activity and unique volcanic scenery. Here you reach the famous Blue Lagoon, one of Iceland's most iconic attractions. Set amid expanses of black lava, this renowned geothermal spa offers warm waters rich in minerals, silica and natural algae, ideal for relaxing after your journey. Bathing in this surreal setting, surrounded by the steam rising from the lava fields, is an authentically Icelandic experience and one of the most memorable moments of your stay.
