Itinerary
Giorno 1 — Papeete (Tahiti)
Welcome upon arrival and transfer to the hotel
The island of Tahiti is the largest and most populous of the 118 islands and atolls that make up French Polynesia. For most visitors, it is just the starting point for exploring the other islands, all of which are accessible from Faa'a airport. In the capital city of Papeete, you will find pearl shops on every corner, lively food trucks for street food, and often traffic jams. However, in Papeete, you will have the opportunity to see up close the normal life of a Polynesian, especially if you wander around a market like the Marché Papeete. Few visitors ever venture into the interior of the island, which is wild and beautiful.
Volo
Giorno 2 — Papeete (Tahiti) → Moorea
Airport transfer. Flight to Moorea. I arrive and transfer to the hotel.
Just 30 minutes by ferry or 10 minutes by flight from Papeete, the beautiful island of Moorea is much quieter than its famous neighbor, Tahiti. From an elevated viewpoint (with a off-road tour) called Le Belvédère, you can see the picturesque Cook's and Opunohu bays, almost perfectly symmetrical on the northern coast, where the island's life is concentrated. The off-road tour also takes you to the beautiful interior of the island, where you can swim under a waterfall. Dedicate an evening to the dance show at the Tiki Theatre Village. In Moorea, spending a day in the water in the lagoon is a must, and every hotel offers half-day or full-day excursions to explore the lagoon, landing on a deserted islet and reaching the coral reef for swimming and snorkeling, and maybe for a barbecue lunch.
Giorno 3 — Moorea
Free day. It is recommended to visit the Intera giornata visita dell'isola in 4x4 - picnic lunch incluso (Francese/Inglese).
Giorno 4 — Moorea
Free day.
Volo
Giorno 5 — Moorea → Bora Bora
Airport transfer. Flight to Bora Bora. I arrive and transfer to the hotel.
Perhaps the most celebrated romantic destination in the world, Bora Bora has a stunning lagoon dominated by the majestic Mount Otemanu. Visitors spend as much time as possible in the transparent and warm waters, swimming with tropical fish and manta rays.
Giorno 6 — Bora Bora
Free day. We recommend the visit/excursion.
Giorno 7 — Bora Bora
Free day. We recommend the visit/excursion.
Volo
Giorno 8 — Bora Bora → Tikehau
Airport transfer. Flight to Rangiroa. I arrive and transfer to the hotel.
The largest of the Tuamotu atolls, Rangiroa is located over 300 km from Tahiti. The thin necklace of slender islets encloses one of the largest lagoons in the world, 70 km on the longest side and 26 km on the shortest side. In the two navigable passages, Avatoru and Tiputa, it is easy to see schools of dolphins early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Here you can do the best diving, but snorkeling and fishing are also quite good. The airport runway and most of the hotels are located on a stretch of sandy beach lined with palm trees between Avatoru and Tiputa. I arrive and transfer to the hotel.
Giorno 9 — Tikehau
Free day. It is recommended to visit the Laguna Blu - intera giornata con pranzo sul motu (francese/inglese).
Giorno 10 — Tikehau
Free day. It is recommended to visit the Alla scoperta del reef - intera giornata con pranzo sul motu (francese/inglese).
Volo
Giorno 11 — Tikehau → Papeete (Tahiti)
Airport transfer. Flight to Papeete (Tahiti). If the connection between the domestic flight and the intercontinental flight is quite long, we recommend booking the Papeete Express service. This service is designed for customers arriving in Papeete in the morning from other islands in French Polynesia. It includes: - collective transfer from the national airport or the port to the city center (Papeete Center Waterfront) - luggage storage (maximum two suitcases per person) - collective transfer from Papeete Center Waterfront to the international airport in connection with the intercontinental flight.
