Giorno 4 — Rovaniemi
Breakfast. Free day. We suggest a visit to the Arktikum Museum, to learn more about the origin and development of the Arctic region and its inhabitants (the Sami). Alternatively, you can go shopping in town or stroll along the banks of the Ounasjoki river to admire the Lapland landscape. Another option is to take part in one of the many activities on offer in the area, such as snowshoe hikes, ice fishing and snowmobile tours. An exciting new activity for young and old alike is ice karting, where you will have the chance to drive on ice and understand why Finland boasts some of the best Formula 1 drivers, such as Kimi Räikkönen! Do not hesitate to ask your tour leader for advice; they will be delighted to help you make the most of Lapland. In the late afternoon, prepare to step into an enchanted world. We transfer to the Igloo village, where you can settle into your comfortable, heated glass igloo, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. If the sky is clear and you are a little lucky, you may admire the spectacle of the Northern Lights directly from your warm bed. Dinner at the hotel.
