Abstract
During our magical winter tour you will discover the wonders of Iceland and get to know the culture of this fascinating country. Set off in search of the Northern Lights and relax with a bathe in the warm thermal springs of the Secret Lagoon. Admire the erupting geysers, the frozen waterfalls and the famous Jökulsarlon glacier lagoon, from whose waters spectacular icebergs emerge. This programme has been specifically designed to let you make the most of the Northern Lights that shine in Iceland's skies during the winter season. Thanks to as many as 2 overnight stays in the Kirkjubæjarklaustur area (one of the best areas for admiring the aurora), you will only need to step outside your hotel to try to spot the Northern Lights, without having to take any excursion! BLUE LAGOON ENTRANCE: (Guide services not included) An unforgettable swim in a science-fiction film setting. The Blue Lagoon is the result of the initial drilling to reach underground thermal waters that were to be used to heat two fishing ports and a NATO base. The temperature of the pressurised blob turned out to be far higher than expected. Icelandic engineers quickly solved the problem by heating clear, pure water with well water and creating a lake of sky-blue warm water with evident dermatological virtues.
