Itinerary
Giorno 1 — Toronto
Welcome upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free time for a first discovery of the city. Toronto, on the shores of Lake Ontario, showcases its economic power with a skyline of sparkling skyscrapers, dominated by the futuristic spire of the CN Tower. Dinner free. Available evening.
Accommodation Chelsea Hotel / Sheraton Centre Hotel and Towers.
Giorno 2 — Toronto → Niagara-on-the-Lake → Niagara Falls CA
Breakfast. Meeting with the guide at the hotel. Orientative visit of the city. The main highlights of the Toronto visit include the financial district, the old and new City Halls, the Parliament of Ontario, University Avenue with its most important hospitals and traditional institutions, the distinctive Yorkville district with its elegant shops, Chinatown (the second largest in Canada), and the CN Tower—the tallest structure in the Western Hemisphere at 553.33 meters, visited by more than 2 million people every year. Toronto, Canada's largest city, stretches along the shores of Lake Ontario with a skyline dominated by the soaring CN Tower, the metropolis's symbol, from whose top a dizzying panorama unfolds. Cosmopolitan and multicultural, the city is a mosaic of ethnic neighbourhoods such as Chinatown, Little Italy and Kensington Market, where cultures and flavours from around the world coexist. The centre pulses with life around Yonge Street, the Financial District and the Distillery District, with its Victorian brick buildings now home to galleries, cafés and shops. Among the attractions are the Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario and the modern lakefront, from which ferries depart for the Toronto Islands. The city is also an ideal base for reaching the nearby Niagara Falls. Dynamic, welcoming and ever-growing, Toronto is a metropolis open to the world, a showcase of Canadian diversity and modernity. Departure for Niagara-on-the-Lake. Stop in Niagara-on-the-Lake, a charming Victorian-era town. Continuation to Niagara Falls. Even if you have already seen them in countless photographs and documentaries, nothing prepares you for the live show. The border between the United States and Canada cuts the course of the Niagara River in half, and near the falls, the small Goat Island divides the current in two, effectively forming two waterfalls: the American Falls on the American side with a front of 320 meters, and the famous Horseshoe Falls (named for their horseshoe shape) twice as wide on the Canadian side. The spectacle is even more extraordinary in winter, when the falls turn into a block of ice. A boat ride at the foot of the falls is a must-see. In the evening, it is recommended to go to the top of Skylon Tower to see the illuminated falls. Exciting boat ride at the foot of the waterfalls. Dinner free. Available evening.
Accommodation Wyndham Garden Niagara Falls Fallsview / Wyndham Grand Fallsview Hotel.
Giorno 3 — Niagara Falls CA → Mille Isole → Ottawa
Breakfast. Departure for Thousand Islands. You follow the western coast of Lake Ontario. The Thousand Islands are a picturesque region of over 1,800 islands located along the St. Lawrence River between Canada and the United States in eastern Ontario. Characterised by breathtaking landscapes, crystal clear waters and a rich history, the Thousand Islands are renowned for outdoor activities and sumptuous historic villas, offering a unique experience of nature and culture. About an hour's navigation in the archipelago of the 1000 Forested Islands, which the Indians called the Garden of the Great Spirit; a holiday destination for the rich and famous of the last century, who built villas and castles there. Continuation to Ottawa. Ottawa, the capital of Canada, is a city geographically and culturally situated between the English tradition of Toronto and the French tradition of Montreal, making it unique in the national landscape. As the seat of Parliament and an important cultural center, it is pleasant and rich in parks. The highlights of the visit are Old Montréal (especially the cathedral of Notre-Dame); the residential block and the business district; the Quartier Latino; the Olympic Complex; the McGill University campus and the dazzling city view from the top of Mount Royal. Available evening.
Accommodation Courtyard Ottawa Downtown / Lord Elgin.
Giorno 4 — Ottawa → Laurentides → Montebello (Ouataouais) → Trois-Rivieres → Wendake
Breakfast. Departure for Laurentides. The Laurentides region is characterized by vast boreal forests, mountains, and numerous crystal-clear lakes. It is renowned for its stunning landscapes, outdoor activities such as winter skiing and hiking during the other seasons, and its rich French-Canadian culture. Stop at Montebello. Photographic safari in Omega Park aboard a modified school bus to see wolves, bears, bison, ibex, reindeer, foxes, and coyotes. Even though the animals live in captivity, they have access to vast spaces. Continuation to Trois-Rivieres. Stop at a quaint “cabane à sucre,” witness the process of making the famous maple syrup and have lunch on site, with music from local folklore. Continue to Wendake. Wendake is a village of the Huron-Wendat nation at the gates of Québec City, a living heart of First Nations culture in Québec. The village keeps a reconstructed traditional longhouse, a hotel-museum devoted to Indigenous culture and a spectacular waterfall, proudly telling the history and traditions of the Huron people. Among Indigenous cuisine, crafts and storytelling, it offers an authentic immersion in a millennia-old culture. Wendake is a living bridge between Indigenous past and present. Dinner at the hotel. Available evening.
Accommodation Hôtel - Musée Premières Nations.
Giorno 5 — Wendake → Ile d'Orleans → Montmorency Falls → Quebec City
Breakfast. Visit to a traditional Huron site, the most authentic reconstruction of an Indian village in Quebec, to discover the history, culture, and way of life of the natives. Overnight stay at the Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations, a modern boutique hotel built in the style of indigenous dwellings. Departure to Quebec City. Stop at Ile d'Orleans. Continuation to Montmorency Falls. The Beaupré coast, 35 km from Quebec, is famous for the spectacular Montmorency Falls and the Basilica of Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré, one of the most sacred Canadian pilgrimage sites. Arrival at Quebec City. Perched scenically on the promontory of Cap Diamant and the shores of the St. Lawrence River, Quebec City is Canada's oldest city, and the only one in North America to have preserved its defensive walls, bastions, and buttresses, as well as churches and convents, making it a UNESCO World Heritage site. Quebec City is also a city with a deeply rooted and proudly French culture. Upon arrival, there will be a panoramic tour of the city. Highlights of the visit: the old town with Place Royale, the fortifications, the Citadelle, the famous Chateau Frontenac, and a glimpse of the modern city. Dinner free. Available evening.

Giorno 6 — Quebec City
Breakfast. Free day. A park guide welcomes you upon arrival and will be with you for this great day in nature, full of activities. It starts with an introduction to the wildlife reserve and the variety of animals that inhabit it. Equipped with boots, a hat, and of course your camera, you will take a guided walk in the boreal forest. Lunch will be a packed meal with cold food on the shores of the lake, followed by an exciting adventure: bear watching. The day ends with a canoe trip (rabaska) on the river. Dinner free. Available evening.
Accommodation Le Concorde / Hilton Quebec.
Giorno 7 — Quebec City → Montreal
Breakfast. Departure for Montreal. The journey from Quebec City to Montreal offers an experience through the beautiful Quebec countryside. Along Autoroute 20 or Autoroute 40, the main highways linking the two cities, we pass through various landscapes, from green hills to open plains, with the St. Lawrence River accompanying much of the journey. Arriving in Montréal, the difference between the two cities is striking: so much Quebec is tied to its religious and military past, so much Montréal appears international, dynamic and progressive. Montreal, the second largest city in Canada, is located exactly halfway between the western coast of Europe and Vancouver, and combines aspects of both continents. Two-thirds of the population are of French descent, while the rest is a cosmopolitan mix of English, Chinese, Italian, Greek, South American, Eastern European, and Caribbean backgrounds. This diversity is reflected in the cuisine and the large number of popular festivals that make it one of the most vibrant and lively cities in Canada. Upon arrival, there will be a panoramic tour of the city. Key points: Old Montreal with Notre Dame Basilica, residential and financial districts, the Latin Quarter, the Olympic complex from the outside, McGill University campus, and the beautiful view of the city from the top of Mont Royal. The rest of the day available. Dinner free.
