Giorno 2 — Kawah Ijen → Monte Bromo
It is important to confirm the departure time with the guide on the previous day. The wake-up call is set for 03:00/04:00 in the morning, with a packed breakfast (to be requested from the hotel in advance) and departure towards Paltuding, the starting point of the excursion to reach the caldera of the Ijen volcano. The route passes through rural villages, coffee and clove plantations, and winds through the rainforest of Java, amid the humidity, the wildlife, giant ferns and large trees covering the mountainside. The uphill trek lasts approximately two hours, so wearing a sweatshirt is recommended. At an altitude of 2,883 metres, the effort will be rewarded by a breathtaking view at dawn; in good weather, it will be possible to observe the wide sulphur lake. After admiring the lake and the local sulphur-mining activities, the descent begins, followed by a long minibus transfer to the Bromo area, a journey of approximately 8-9 hours. On arrival in the Bromo area, check-in at the hotel. Dinner not included and overnight at the hotel. Lunch during the visit. Accommodation Artotel Cabin Bromo.
Please note: visits to the Ijen volcano must be conducted by English-speaking local park guides. Ask the hotel for a packed breakfast for the following day. Optional activity (at extra cost): the experience of seeing the Blue Fires of the Ijen volcano is possible with a supplement and subject to availability (approximately EUR 50 per person, to be paid locally); the night departure from the hotel will be at 01:00.

Giorno 3 — Monte Bromo → Mojokerto → Yogyakarta
It is important to confirm the departure time with the guide the day before. Wake-up is scheduled for approximately 3:30 a.m., with a packed breakfast to be requested from the hotel in advance. After watching the sun rise, the journey will continue downhill by Jeep to an altitude of 2,330 metres, crossing the famous "sea of sand". From here, a short horseback ride is planned to reach the base of the Bromo volcano. To reach the crater, you will need to climb 250 steep steps. Once you have admired the striking panorama of the volcano, the group will return to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. Giorno 4 — Yogyakarta → Prambanan → Borobudur → Yogyakarta
Breakfast. Meeting with the guide and departure at 08:00 circa. Early in the morning, visit to Prambanan. Built in the 10th century, it is the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia. It consists of three temples decorated with reliefs illustrating the epic of the Ramayana, dedicated to the three great Hindu deities (Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma). Then visit the city of Yogyakarta with the Sultan's Palace (closed on Mondays), also known as "Keraton". The Palace is built with typical Javanese architecture and inside it showcases the cultural heritage that tells the history of the region. Next, visit the Water Castle, which was once the royal family's vacation garden. Transportation between Keraton, Water Castle, and the Batik factory is done by traditional pedal-powered tricycles called "Becak". Continue with an interesting walking tour in the Kotagede neighborhood, strolling among the locals' houses where you can interact with them. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Buddhist temple of Borobudur (closed on Mondays). The massive stone stupa of Borobudur is one of the largest ancient architectural monuments linked to the Mahayana tradition. Buried under volcanic ash and tropical vegetation, it was only rediscovered in 1815 and has been completely restored by UNESCO. It is truly a Mandala, a map of the cosmic universe and the human mind: a point of integration, union, and connection. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
