Giorno 5 — Killarney → Adare → Bunratty → Ennis → Galway City
Breakfast. Departure for Adare. Adare is considered one of Ireland's prettiest villages, with its picturesque thatched cottages, well-tended gardens and the elegant Adare Manor. Set in a pastoral landscape, it reveals the most romantic and refined side of rural Ireland. We will then visit Bunratty Castle, a mighty Norman fortress that comprises the most complete and authentic medieval complex in all of Ireland. It was built in 1425 and definitively restored in 1954. The castle had in fact suffered looting and destruction on many occasions, but today we can once again admire it in its medieval splendour thanks to the furnishings and tapestries that recall the style of that period. The Folk Park around the castle recreates rural life in Ireland 100 years ago, with its purpose-built farmhouses, cottages and shops, recreated with the utmost care and with particular attention to the furnishings above all. Free lunch. Departure for the Burren region, a very unusual geological formation whose lunar, desert-like landscapes conceal countless archaeological, botanical and zoological treasures. Visit to the Cliffs of Moher, where you can experience the thrill of walking on Ireland's most famous cliffs. Continue to Galway City. Dinner at the hotel. Accommodation The Ardilaun Hotel.
