***CLIMATE***.
January-March in Namibia and Botswana is the rainy season, characterized by hot and humid weather. Some days are clear and sunny, while others are gray with afternoon thunderstorms.
April-June, the rains are over! Everything is fresh and new with clear skies; moderate daytime temperatures, and the wildlife begins to gather around permanent water holes, making it easier to spot them.
July-September: dry, with clear days and an average daytime temperature of 25°C, nighttime temperatures between 0 and 10°C; animal sightings are excellent, migratory birds start arriving in August. The best time for a safari!.
October: the driest period of the year with daytime temperatures of 30°C. An excellent time for spotting the Big Five.
November-December: hot days with the first afternoon thunderstorms; it is the weaning period and the sighting is good; many migratory birds.

Giorno 2 — Victoria Falls → Chobe National Park
Breakfast. Departure for Chobe National Park. Chobe National Park is one of the great African parks, comparable in size to the entire Abruzzo region, and combines three types of natural environments: sandy depressions, shrub desert, and the alluvial plains of the great rivers Lynianti and Chobe, which flow into the Zambezi near Kasane, where four states - Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe - meet. Their lush basins provide the ideal environment for herds of elephants, buffalos, and zebras, for which the park is famous. At sunset, a photo safari by boat on the Chobe River. Dinner at the hotel. Accommodation Chobe Safari Lodge.
Giorno 3 — Chobe National Park
Breakfast. In the morning, photo safari in the park. Afternoon available. Dinner. Accommodation Chobe Safari Lodge.
Auto
Giorno 4 — Chobe National Park → Delta Okavango

Giorno 5 — Delta Okavango
Full board. Transfer of about 30 minutes by boat to reach the meeting point for the activities in the area. A day dedicated to exploring the Delta on typical mokoro boats and by boat, and with a pleasant walk in the bush, for a complete immersion in the beautiful nature of this region. Accommodation SwampStop Chalets o Tende fisse stile Meru.

Giorno 6 — Delta Okavango → Zambesi Region (ex Caprivi)
Breakfast. Depart the Delta to enter Namibia. Continue on to the eastern part of the Caprivi area. We will spend the night amidst the lush vegetation overlooking the Okavango River. Free afternoon to take an optional boat excursion on the river (at your own expense). Dinner. Accommodation Hakusembe River Lodge.
Auto
Giorno 7 — Zambesi Region (ex Caprivi) → Etosha National Park
Breakfast. Departure for Etosha National Park. Etosha is the focal point of every trip to Namibia. Two million years ago, it was a huge saltwater lake, which left behind a vast salt desert - Etosha saltpan - visible even from space and surrounded by thorny savannah, mopane shrubs, and arid forest. Today, Etosha is one of the most important African wildlife parks, as large as Lazio and Molise combined, with the largest concentration of black rhinos in the world. A 2005 census counted 250 lions, 300 rhinos, 3,000 giraffes, 12,000 zebras, 4,000 wildebeests, 5,500 oryx, and 2,500 elephants; there are at least 20,000 springbok gazelles. Safaris take place along the tracks that connect the waterholes where animals quench their thirst. The driest period, between June and November, is the best time to visit because the animals gather around the scarce waterholes to drink. Afternoon photosafari with private truck. Dinner. Accommodation Namutoni Camp.
Auto
Giorno 8 — Etosha National Park
Breakfast. Early in the morning departure for Etosha National Park. In the late afternoon, off-road photo safari. Located 4 km from the southern entrance (Andersson's Gate) of Etosha National Park, Etosha Village built in the style of a typical local village (kraal), it has 45 spacious units on raised platforms with private patios among the mopane trees. The units are equipped with air conditioning, private bathrooms with toilet, shower, and sink, electronic safe, power outlets, mini fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities. Etosha Village has three outdoor restaurants for buffet breakfasts and dinners, as well as à la carte lunch options. There is also a bar with satellite TV, three swimming pools, and a well-stocked shop, including souvenirs. Free WiFi is available in the reception and restaurant area. Dinner. Accommodation Etosha Village.
Auto
Giorno 9 — Etosha National Park → Damaraland
Breakfast. At dawn departure for the last photosafari. Departure in the late morning for Damaraland. The journey continues in the Damaraland region, a harsh and rocky desert expanse with suggestive landscapes and unique rock formations, inhabited by desert elephants. I will arrive at the lodge in the afternoon. Free time. Dinner. Accommodation Ugab Terrace Lodge.
Auto
Giorno 10 — Damaraland → Walvis Bay → Swakopmund
Breakfast. You leave the desert for the ocean, crossing the northernmost part of the Namib Naukluft Park. Arrive at Walvis Bay. Walvis Bay is a port city located on the western coast of Namibia, on the shores of Walvis Bay. It is the third largest city in the country and the main commercial port, as well as an important fishing center. The city offers a wide range of tourist attractions, including pristine beaches, nature reserves, and national parks. The bay itself is one of the main attractions of the city, with its wide range of marine fauna, including dolphins, seals, whales, and a great variety of birds. The spectacle of the pink flamingos in the lagoon is also spectacular. The city also hosts a number of cultural and sporting events, including the Desert Festival and the Walvis Bay Fly Fishing Tournament. Additionally, there are many outdoor activities to choose from, such as surfing, kiteboarding, and quad biking. During lunch, one can admire the spectacular pink expanse of flamingos in the lagoon. Continue to Swakopmund. Afternoon available for optional activities. Dinner free. Accommodation The Delight Swakopmund.
Giorno 11 — Swakopmund
Breakfast. Day available for visiting the city. Swakopmund is the largest coastal town in the country, nestled between a sea of dunes and the Atlantic Ocean. Founded by the Germans in 1892 as the main port for their colony, it is a pleasant town with colonial buildings in German style and excellent restaurants; but above all, it is an ideal base for numerous excursions in the surrounding area. The city offers numerous outdoor activities, such as surfing, fishing, skydiving, quad biking, and desert excursions. Dinner free. Accommodation The Delight Swakopmund.
Auto
Giorno 12 — Swakopmund → Sossusvlei
Breakfast. Early in the morning departure for Sossusvlei. The Namib Desert is one of the oldest on Earth, famous for the beauty of its dunes, some of the tallest in the world. These dunes are protected by the Namib-Naukluft Park, a national park larger than Switzerland. Beautiful sunset walk on the dunes that border the field, a lovely way to end the day. Dinner. Accommodation Desert Quiver Camp.
Giorno 13 — Sossusvlei
Breakfast. Wake up in the early hours of the morning to admire the spectacle of the sunrise on the highest sand dunes in the world, which change color with the changing light. The morning continues with a visit to Dead Vlei, a very suggestive salt pan created by the evaporation of a section of the Tsauchab River and surrounded by monumental dunes; the vlei is reached by a walk of about 5 km (about an hour and a half); the silence is almost unreal and the color contrasts are strong: the black of the "camelthorn" trees, the white of the clayey ground, the reddish tones of the dunes that stand out against the intense blue of the sky. In the afternoon, a short excursion to the Sesriem Canyon, carved by the erosive action of wind and water 18 million years ago. Return to the lodge in the evening. Dinner. Accommodation Desert Quiver Camp.
